Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces cyan-blue monochromatic images by exposing UV-sensitive chemicals to sunlight. In this all level, three-hour workshop we will create two distinctly different art prints using provided papers, chemicals, sunlight, and stencils. Artist and designer, Susan Benarcik will demonstrate how to design one botanical print, using a variety of pressed organic forms, and a second experimental print using your own hand-cut stencil or hand drawn transparency.
